Explore one of UNESCO’s richest biodiversity hotspots with the stunning Himalayan wilderness of The Great Himalayan National Park, embark through uncharted serene snow trails, meadows, springs and pristine environment.
10th to 17th April 2025
ITINERARY
Day 1: 10th Reporting at RK Ashram, New Delhi (before 3:00 PM) & travel to Aut, Kullu. Travel overnight to Aut, Kullu by luxury A/C Coach.
Day 2: 11th Arrival at Aut, breakfast, trek to “Choii” waterfalls & return for Program orientation, team formation, dinner & Rest. GHNP Base Camp (1600 Mt.)
Day 3: 12th 12 km of scenic drive to Pekhri Village (2400 Mt.) and trek to Rangthar (6 km, 2700 Mt.) & stay.
Day 4: 13th Trek to Marhoni Meadows (7 km, 3200 Mt. altitude) Camp fun & activities, stay at Marhoni.
Day 5: 14th Descent from Marhoni to Rangthar exploring vicinity (6-hour trek) stayat Rangthar.
Day 6: 15th Trek back to Pekhri Village & Transfer by vehicle & stay at GHNP Base Camp.
Day 7: 16th Stay at GHNP Sai Ropa cottage and explore the surrounding valley and sights, transfer to Aut for return bus.
Day 8: 17th Arrive early morning at Manju Katila, New Delhi & disperse.
Explore the Saurkundi Glacier Lake situated at an altitude of 14,000 ft. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Dhauladhar Range & Majestic Himalayan peaks while trekking through snow-covered paths, lush meadows & dense forests featuring pne, silver oak & deodar trees.
ITINERARY:
Day 1: 18th Reporting at RK Ashram, New Delhi (before 3:00 PM) & travel to Manali.
Day 2: 19th Arrive at Manali, refresh at the riverside base camp, and enjoy sightseeing of Solang Valley, Atal Tunnel and Sissu Lake.
Day 3: 20th Begin the trek from Sangchar to Maheli (10, 500 ft.) for expedition briefing & preparation, team formation, camp fun & rest at Maheli.
Day 4: 21st Trek to Saurkundi Lake (13, 500 ft.), explore the scenic Himalayan viewpoints, return & rest at Manali.
Day 5: 22nd Descend to Sangchar Village, enjoy local sightseeing & camp fun activities, stay at Sangchar
Day 6: 23rd Return to Manali % local sightseeing, begin the overnight journey back to New Delhi.
Day 7: 24th arrives early in the morning in New Delhi and disperses.
Age Group: 14 years and above
Food: Nutritious buffet (with preference for Veg, Non-Veg, or Jain)
Reporting Point: RK Ashram, New Delhi before 3:00 PM on 1st day of the program
Accommodation: Gender-based lodging at GHNP Guest House, Cottages, Dorm, and tents.
The registration cost includes all expenses from reporting point at New Delhi and return to New Delhi, including, boarding, lodging, and travel.
Optional: Delhi sightseeing at New Delhi, stay, food, and travel to New Delhi and back (at actuals).
